Tibetan Copper Singing Bowl
Our Small Tibetan Copper Singing Bowl is perfect for sound therapy. Made from gilt copper, the use of this special conduit to higher wisdom, health and healing still prevails within the practice of Buddhism today. Also known as the Buddha bowl, and engraved with Arabic script, our alms bowl includes a human head carved mahogany bar, with a particular symbolism on the underside which means 'good luck', its power grows in meaning every year.
Use the mahogany stick to rotate around the edge of your singing bowl, this will emit sounds of "Om", the volume and length of which can be freely controlled according to your own thoughts and feelings. More pressure and longer turning will ensure your bowl sings to you loud and clear, it is a wonderful magic! If you put water in the Buddha sound bowl, the sound becomes higher as the water inside the pot begins to boil, forming a fine spray, like ballet.
Sit back and enjoy the relaxing effects of this healing, sound therapy tool and immerse yourself into the music it elicits as you play out your emotions.
